If you came to this blog expecting to see the ever illusive Guitar Hero DS (Or Guitar Hero: On Tour as it's apparently going to be called), sorry, but that's not what this is.
What I'm going to be doing is building a "guitar" from a Guitar Hero controller, and a Nintendo DS. The DS will be running the guitar simulator game, Jam sessions, and the the buttons on the DS will be replaced with the neck buttons on the Guitar Hero controller. The strum bar on the Guitar Hero controller will be replaced with the DS's touch screen.
When it's done, it should look like a Guitar Hero controller with a DS screen as the strum bar. It will be able to plug into an amp, or play "acoustically" through the DS's speakers.
